This unit includes the floor base and the pivot to form a complete single grappler. Insert an Olympic barbell into the pivot to make a SINGLE HANDED angled barbell training set-up that can accommodate a wide variety of handle types (sold separately). You can do literally dozens (perhaps hundreds) of exercises with this unit; make unique combinations of aerobic and strength movements that can be done sequentially in a non-stop manner for superb athletic conditioning.
If you already own a landmine pivot that you use with a stack of 45-lb plates, we also sell just the floor base as a separate item. This is so that you can save money while upgrading by buying only the floor base unit. We recommend using a floor base instead of a stack of 45-lb plates as a base, because of the increased stability that the base provides. The unit has rubber feet to minimize wobbling on uneven floors.
An Internet search of the terms "landmine training," "grappler training," or "angled barbell training" will reveal many of the numerous possibilities. This is one of the best ways to work excess fat off the abdomen and sides of your trunk (those stubborn "love handles" WILL finally succumb to the assault of consistent, prolonged, hard landmine training). It is no wonder that landmine training is exploding (no pun intended) on the fitness scene.
