Exercise: Proper Pinch Grip Technique

$ 0.00

Using the proper grip on a pinch block is critical to getting the most out of any exercise done with any size pinch grip block (we make a variety of pinch block sizes from 1/4 inch up to 4 inches wide). Use only the force of your fingers and thumb squeezing against the block to hold on to it. Do NOT run your fingers or thumb past the corner of the block, so that you can hang onto the "ledge" of the block. You will be sorely tempted to do this, because using just your pinching force is DIFFICULT. But you must resist the temptation to cheat in order to get ridiculously powerful fingers and thumbs. This concept is applicable to ANY pinch grip device - all the block handles, the lever blocks, square barbells and dumbells, etc.
