Wrestling season is starting, and even though all athletes can benefit from a stronger grip, wrestlers need grip strength more than most other athletes. I mean, wrestlers really, REALLY need grip strength, and grip endurance too. So here is a great grip builder to start the season. One of the best features of this exercise is that it is relatively easy to maintain good form even with heavy weights, so you can go heavy here very effectively; try low to medium reps (3 - 8 reps) to failure. High reps, or extremely high reps, also work very nicely to build endurance. Try alternating high and low reps between training sessions. For wrestlers, this will help you hang on to your opponent.
